Last Saturday, I participated in a Volunteer Day at the Bromley United Reformed Church, where I hosted a stand to promote Yoga Fitness for Beginners and engaged with various fellow stallholders. I observed that the majority of these organizations share a common need to recruit more volunteers, and I also noted that, as a Black woman, I felt there was a lack of diversity among the visitors that could be addressed.
